One hour into the process
 

These items should be removed in this order...
The hood
Disconnect/remove battery
Drain engine and transmission oil along with the anti freeze.
Air filter, air mass meter and related piping
Intercooler
Radiator fans, radiator and hoses
Starter/Alternator wires
Temporarily relocate AC compressor from engine to passenger fender well
Unplug all other associated wiring for the injectors, knock sensor, air mass meter, and temperature sensor..etc
Take off both front wheels to remove both lower ball joint bolts which will allow clearance to remove both axles
Take off the header pipe to engine.
Disconnect transmission shift rod by removing the tapered pin.
To ease in clutch removal first install a thick mechanical wire formed as a circle around the clutch fingers prior to removing the hydraulic line
Unbolt the front and side motor mounts
Carefully rap chain around engine for a balanced removal. :)


Time Log
From when I started on this project to its completion I put in approximately 80 hours which spanned three weeks. This amount of time enabled me to learn all the details necessary to be efficient with future car repairs and offer help to anyone who has approached me with their car troubles.
